Here are some pics of the new mustang that I saw while I was working at the Hyatt hotel setting up a trade show. They were doing a photo shoot with it.

This is at dock level. When I was walking to work I saw it upstairs with a police escort making their way to the lower level and it had that white sheet that they use to hide what the car looks like covering 90% of the car.

Damn it looks good. Hate the cheesy looking, what looks to be bullseye Mustang logo though. Havent S550's always been offered in this green though?

I’m sure if they can paint a whole car, they have enough paint to paint a piece of metal/plastic lol.

Yeah, but, what state? Why those letters/numbers? Are they custom? Can I have one? Why not leave the plate off? So many questions....

This doesn’t look like it is Guard Green, which is the only green that was offered on the S550 for 2015 and 2016. It went away for 2017 and has not returned for 2018. A Bullitt should be “Dark Highland Green” which is a slightly different shade.

This is going to be interesting. Obvious changes are the Bullitt badge on the trunk, no 5.0 badge on the side, black with chrome lip Torq Thrust style wheels, and red brake calipers. Speaking of the calipers, it does appear they are Brembos in the front as offered with the Performance Pack, implying it has at least some form of PP on it. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a different dash trim than what we’ve seen on the ‘18 so far, and surely this has the active exhaust.

I wonder how much the package will cost and how limited it will be, if at all.

There is no state: they just pick the most common serial format in a particular market (ABC 123, in the vast majority of cases) and paint over it. Its purpose is to be as realistic as possible (which wouldn’t be the case with no plate at all), while being as generic as possible (so as to not subtly alienate any customers, hence it being painted in the body color).

The idea is to place the customer in the vehicle, such that the customer ‘fills in the blanks’/imagines the stuff familiar to them in and on the car. Having a realistic plate would achieve the opposite. A minor detail, yes, but you’d be surprised at the subconscious effect little things like this have!
